Suture Line is an independently maintained, free archive of exam preparation material — previous-year question compilations, topic-wise notes, and high-yield revision lists — built during one surgeon's own preparation for the MS General Surgery final examination and the DNB General Surgery examination. It's shared publicly in the hope that it saves the next candidate some of the time it took to assemble.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to AIIMS, any state medical university, the National Board of Examinations (NBE), or any other examination or accrediting body. Nothing here should be treated as an official syllabus, an official past paper, or a guarantee of what will appear in any future examination.
DNB question bank PDFs on this site are compiled from previously released NBE General Surgery examination papers, publicly available on the NBE website. They have been reorganized by paper and session (most recent first) and indexed by topic for easier revision — the question content itself is reproduced as released, not paraphrased. Where this site notes a session as "Undated," the exact sitting could not be confirmed from the source material, but the question content is preserved as found. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NBE; for anything where exact official wording matters, cross-check against material released directly by the NBE.
Topic notes are the author's own synthesis, written while preparing for these exams, and are intended as a revision aid — not a replacement for standard textbooks or your own institution's teaching. Always verify clinical content against current standard references before relying on it.
